Hello,
I have finally got around to typing up all the information you will need while I am on maternity leave. I want to thank all of you for being patient with me, as baby and I are growing. I might seem a little less comfortable while working on your hair, just because of my growing belly. Even though I am not as comfy as normal, I still enjoy seeing all of you everyday and working on your hair. I feel I have the dream job and you all make it so worth while to come to work. I couldn't ask for better clients than all of you. Thanks for trusting me with your hair and letting me in to your lives.
Scott and I are super excited as Kinsley will be arriving soon.
I will definitely be posting updates on this blog along with pictures to share with all of you.
All you have to do it save this web address (link) to your favorites, or bookmark me and when ever you want you can get to this page to see if I have posted any new information.
Since Scott and I are from California and the only family we have living close by are my Mom and Dad, I have been using this blog page to share information with our families that aren't near us, so sometimes the updates will just be about what Scott, Kinsley and I are up too.
Sometimes they will be about my work schedule, like when I will be taking appointments again and when I will for sure be back to work.
The latest information on my work schedule and what your options are for getting your self taken care of while I am gone is my next topic..........
1. My maternity leave starts on September 26th.
2. I will not be making any appointments for when I return , until 2 weeks before I come back to the salon. I will send out an email to let everyone know when I will open up my calendar.
3. I plan to be back to the salon, the week of Thanksgiving, of course I will only work 2 or 3 days that 1st week back, so that I can spend time on Thanksgiving with my family.
4. Once I am on leave, I will not be taking any phone calls for a while or returning any phone calls, since I will be concentrating on taking care of my new baby.
5. I will supply you with all the information you need (below) to contact Rhonda, Patricia or Alice to assist you with all your hair needs.
6. I have supplied Rhonda and Patricia with a conversion chart from my color company Pravana. So that they can easily get your color card I have made on each one of you and use there color brand and get the same results.
7. Please feel free to get your card from my room and show either of the girls your card with your personal formula on it. You are filed by your first name in either the blue or maroon binder. I keep track of everything I put in your hair each and every time you come to see me.
8. All of the stylists at the Hair Cottage are self employed. I pay rent to Rhonda each week to work there. I also buy everything I use on you my self, like the color, products, wax, shampoo, sanitizing solutions, towels and anything else I use to make you look so great. We all have variations in prices we charge, but I think they are all pretty similar.
9. Unfortunately my calendar for appointments is pretty full for the next 3 weeks, if you do not already have an appointment and are hoping to get one before I go, I can put you on a cancellation list and give you a call if a slot opens up. I still have a few slots available, but most of the evening and weekend slots are all taken up.

Thank you for all of your understanding during this exciting time in my life. I will be back to the Hair Cottage as soon as I can. Please also understand that my planed 8weeks off applies to all going well with my delivery and baby girl. If I have to take an unexpected extra week or so off, I will let you know by posting it up on this blog.
