Walking up to 11 months

Only about one month away until Kinsley turns 1. It is hard to believe how much she has changed in that time. She is the greatest gift we have ever had. We enjoy her so much, watching her learn and grow.
She waves bye when you ask and show her how and claps when you say"yay".
She says quack quack while taking a bath, since she takes it with a rubber ducky.
It seems each week something new.

I have been busy planning her 1st birthday party which we will have on her birthday.
We are doing the "Look Whoo's turning one" owl theme.
I might have gone a little crazy with the owls, but I am having fun planing it, after all it is also a celebration for us too.
Of course we will take lot's of great pictures for her to look back on at an older age and think how cool was my party at one.
Scott has just passed his EMT I course. Which will give him a little raise and he will be able to preform a little more advanced medical care to his emergency patients. It was an 8 week long course, which he is glad it's over.
Other than that we just stay busy with work and Kinsley.

Kinsley plating with her friend Tatum. Kinsley crawling fast towards mommy.

Kinsley learning from Tatum who is 3 months older.

Here is Kinsley walking. She started at about 10 1/2 months, taking up to 6 steps. But now she is walking everywhere. Good thing she can't run yet...

It gets harder to photograph Kinsley now that she is so active crawling, walking and exploring the world I get a lot of pictures of the top of her head. But I still keep trying.

Turning the corner to 9 months old

So as you can tell I am really slacking on updating this blog. I guess you can say that were always so busy. So a quick run down...............We took a trip to California, we had family out for memorial Day weekend, we had family out this last week, we leave on Friday to Louisiana for a family wedding, Scott starts EMT I class tomorrow which lasts for 8 weeks, so Grandma Lee is going to come out from California and help us out watching Kinsley while Scott is in school. Let's see what else...........Kinsley is crawling and stand up with the help of furniture or a near by leg. She got her first two teeth. And we can't believe she will be 9 months in a little over a week.

We got to see all kinds of family on our trip to California, it was great and Kinsley was passed around the whole time we were there and she loved it.

Airport pictures, Kinsley's first trip to California. She did great on the plane rides.

Scott has been busy working on his Tattoo appointments. So far he has been 6 times and it is still not finished. The arm artwork is of different patriotic pictures combined together to make what they call a half sleeve. Which pretty much means no skin left all tattoo from elbow up to shoulder.

6 1/2 MONTHS

Here are some of our first bluebonnet pictures.

Kinsley just wants to play with them.

Well as you can tell my blog posts are getting further and further apart. As Kinsley gets bigger she is a bit more active and she isn't taking as many naps as she did in her newborn status Which leaves me with less time to do certain things, and blogging is one of them. Kinsley is growing fast. She was 16lb 12oz at her 6 month check up, which was almost a month ago now. She will be 7 months on the 3rd of May and we will be taking her on her first plane ride to California. Of course I am a bit worried that she will not like it and cry on the plane, but I am hoping for the best and praying that we won't be" those parents", ya know the one with the screaming kid. Well at least she isn't old enough yet to kick the seat of the person in front of her.lol. This coming week my Mom and I will be celebrating our Birthdays. We will have a BBQ at there house this Sunday. And of course Scott is probably planning something fabulous for my birthday, but is not giving any hints to what were doing yet. Kinsley is getting ready to crawl, she is getting up on her hands and knees and rocking back and forth. So any day now. Scott was at work for Easter, so it was just Grandma and Grandpa Graham and Kinsley and I. We went to the Marriott for brunch. Then we went to visit Scott at the fire station. We also started taking pictures of Kinsley in the bluebonnets. In hopes to get a great one. The ones in her Easter dress didn't come out the greatest, since she was so interested in grabbing the flowers. We had a hard time trying to get her to look up at the camera. She wanted to put the flowers in her mouth. She succeeded in getting a flower in her mouth a few times, everything goes to her mouth now these days.

We also made a trip to Fredricksburg this month. We rented a van and Grandma and Grandpa Falltrick , Grandma and Grandpa Graham, Scott, Kinsley and I all went to the wild seeds farm and to a few winery's. The weather was great and Kinsley enjoys being outside.

Grandma and Grandpa Falltrick came to visit. We all had a great time. Enjoying the great Spring time weather and company.

Scott and I also had our first date. We did a day time date. We started with brunch at the four seasons, then we went to see the Phantom of the Opera and ended with an Early dinner downtown Austin. We enjoyed our day together and are looking forward to going to the movies someday soon hopefully. We haven't been since before Kinsley was born.

5 1/2 months

Well the new updates: Kinsley loves to grab he feet and try to put them in her mouth. She weighs 16 lb. now. She is getting to heavy to carry around in the car seat. I sure am getting an arm work out. She almost can sit up by her self, any day now. We got her Pictures taken by Robin this month and other than that we all have been busy with just normal stuff, work, play, work and work. I have been trying to get the bow business up and going. I haven't sold any yet but that's OK. I still have more to make and then take pictures and put them up on the web page.

We also took Kinsley to the Rodeo here in Austin. We just walked around since it was such a nice day. She got to see cows and horses for the first time. Not to sure that she seemed intrested, but I guess she is still too young.

She also got to go to the park for the first time and go on a swing, as you can see in the picture, not to sure she was having a good time , but again still too young. We will try again soon.

Scott and I saw The Phantom of the Opera and had a great brunch and dinner date. Grandma and Grandpa baby sat for us. Well that's about it for now here are a few new pictures.
