Baby Shower

Saturday August 22nd was my baby shower. I had a great time a ton of my friends and family were there. I got a lot of great baby things. She is already spoiled and hasn't even arrived yet. Grandma Deb and Grandma Terry did a super amazing job decorating for the shower and putting on a great time. My girlfriend Jackie and Sis-in-law Jill also did a lot to help the shower be a great success. Some of the greatest gifts were that my family was there to share in this event. My mother-in law, sister in-law, stepmother-in-law and three of my Aunt's all came from other states. I am so lucky to have such a great family. Just wished we could see everyone more often. Scott and I are getting more and more excited as we get closer and closer to meeting our new family member..........Miss Kinsley.

8 Months photo

32 weeks- 8 months-8 weeks to go

Well Just getting bigger and bigger everyday. Scott played in Houston this weekend with his band. Of course I don't travel with them any more. Pregnant lady and bar's don't go well together. It will be his last time playing with them for a while, since I am getting closer to due date, and Daddy needs to be there for the big event.

I'm getting excited for the Shower that is next weekend. Looks like there will be a bunch of my friends and family there. As soon as Scott gets back from Houston we will be going to my friend Jackie's new house for a BBQ. Enjoying the last of our pick up and go outings that doesn't include taking a car full of baby necessities and toys. My last Dr. apt went well Dr said I was measuring right on schedule. My back is starting to hurt a bit and I get out of breath easier now. I really am enjoying having a pool it is the only place I feel no weight pulling on me. Other than that not much going on last week. Next week I'll post baby Shower Pictures.

31 weeks and counting 9 more weeks to go

31 weeks and counting, the belly is getting huge and I feel a bit taken over, all my internal organs are rearranged in side of me. My stomach growls where I think my heart should be beating, my rib seems to be poking my heart and I just cant' seem to walk the way I use to, I waddle big time. I can definitely tell you I feel pregnant now.

We have put the final touches on Kinsley's room. It is officialy ready

for a baby to use. I got baskets for the changing table. Half off at Michael's, they fit perfectly.

I hand painted some wall decorations, along with a bird house that was hung on the wall on top of the tree mural with a bird glued to the perch.

Scott and I also just celebrated our 10 year anniversary this last week. I would have posted pictures of the horseshoe bay resort on lake LBJ, where we went for 3 days, but we forgot the camera. It was a relaxing trip and nice to spend time with eachother alone, no computers, no ringing phones, no where to be at a certin time and no work. The only bad part was laying by the pool at the Yahat club and watching Scott enjoy frozen margaritas, while I had ice cold water to drink. We had a nice time and are now concentrating on all the baby things left on our list to get done before she arrives.
